Welcome!
I’m Amelia Musselman, a registered provisional psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists, and founder of Quiet Waters Psychology. I chose the name Quiet Waters because it deeply resonates with how I envision a healthy and peaceful state of being in our often chaotic world. Life can be overwhelming at times, and it is truly an honour to be a part of each individual's journey towards creating a more peaceful and fulfilling life.
I believe in a collaborative and client-centred approach to therapy, where each person’s unique experiences and needs are valued. I am passionate about supporting individuals exposed to trauma, nurturing personal confidence and self-esteem, providing support during times of grief and loss, helping to cultivate a peaceful mindset, and fostering emotional regulation.
By re-authoring the narratives we tell ourselves and gently challenging the negative beliefs we may hold about who we are, we can make our minds a safe and welcoming space once again. Additionally, I find joy in adding humour into my therapeutic practice!
